TexShare Library Card

The TexShare card program is a reciprocal borrowing program. It is designed to allow the registered users of participating institutions to directly borrow materials from the libraries of other participating institutions.

To take Advantage of the TexShare Card Program, follow these simple steps:

• Register for and receive a TexShare card.  TPML cardholders are elligible to register for a TexShare card after they have had at least three months activity on their account that has established a record of observing library policy..

• Consult the TexShare web site to see which libraries participate, and the specific lending policies of the library you wish to visit.

• Present your TexShare card at the reciprocating library's circulation desk to activate your checkout privileges. You will be required to show a photo ID.

• Check out the books or other materials at the circulation desk. It is your responsibility to take care of your borrowed materials and return them on time.
