We have recently added
TumbleBooks to our site.
TumbleBookLibrary is an online
collection of animated, talking picture books which
teach young children the joys of reading in a format
they'll love. Find the link on the Kids page.
Tye Preston Memorial Library is bringing back
COFFEE with the AUTHOR.
San Marcos author Don Blevins joins us on
Thursday, August 28th.
Mark your calendar for September 11th as very
popular non-fiction and now mystery writer Diane
Fanning will be back.
These programs will begin at 6:30pm. There will be
time for Q & A and
refreshments will be provided by: Mrs. Bush's Pie
Co.

The Library offers a free adult
literacy program to anyone interested in learning
how to read and write. the program is staffed
by volunteer tutors who have been trained in adult
literacy. Students and tutors set their own
schedules, meeting twice a week at the library. For more information, call TPML at
(830) 964-3744 and ask for Roxanna Deane, TPML
Special Projects Coordinator.
